An Intro to Psychology

This guide will help you use the many great psychology resources available at or through the Ronald Williams Library and on the web.

Reference Books

Reference books are always available near the reference desk for people who want general background information on psychology.

For example:

  • A biography of Sigmund Freud.
  • What in the world is Gestalt Psychology?
  • How to define depression.

Online Magazines, Journals, and Newspapers

Online magazines, journals, and newspapers (databases) are available through the Ronald William's Library homepage.  You can search these sources of information either at NEIU or at any computer with an internet connection.

Internet Sites

Most everybody knows what an internet site is, and here are some we recommend.   Before using internet sources in your projects remember to do the CRAAP test.

Do have a good site we do not mention? Let us know.
